The task
I needed a site that tells a client within five seconds what I do and who it’s for.
My main reader is a client from Upwork: a business owner, not a designer. They don’t need jargon — they want to see whether I can handle their task, and to reach me easily. I built this site for myself the way I build them for clients, from structure to launch.
The first screen
The first screen says what I do in one sentence and offers one action: tell me about your project.
No greetings and no generic words, straight to the point: websites, admin panels and customer portals, for businesses and teams building software. In a few seconds a client can see whether this is about their task.
Light and dark
The site is comfortable to read by day and by night: the theme switches with one tap, and the site remembers it.
Both themes are calm and cool, and the accent colour is the same in each, so the site is recognisable either way.
Getting in touch
The most important thing on the site is writing to me, so the form is short.
Name, email, budget and a few sentences about the task — enough to start a conversation. If the budget isn’t clear yet, you can say so: that’s no reason to put off writing.
The result
The site is live: now there’s somewhere to send a client from Upwork — the first screen shows what I do, and writing to me takes one short form.
